Translator - from English, French and German into Spanish and Catalan
Sworn translator and interpreter: English to Spanish and English to Catalan

I was born in Barcelona over 30 years ago. I lived in my beautiful Mediterranean home city until I graduated in Translation and Interpretation from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and decided to move abroad to pursue my career as a translator and interpreter.

In Switzerland, I took my first steps as a professional, working as a translation project co-ordinator in Bern. In 2003, I set up as an independent translator, and have continued to do so until today.

During that time, I have continued my studies to build up my CV: improvement courses in English, French and German; a postgraduate course in specialist legal and economic translation (please see the link below to my postgraduate final dissertation) at the University of Applied Sciences of Zurich , courses in legal translation through the international bodies of Geneva University ; online courses on computer-assisted translation; and a Masters in Training Specialist Teachers in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the Complutense University of Madrid.

In 2008, I moved back to Spain where, in addition to my work as a translator, I have started work on my second professional passion: teaching Spanish to foreign students.

I am a member of APTIC (the professional association of translators and interpreters of Catalonia).
